We are excited to offer you a unique opportunity to experience Prescott College’s Adventure Education program in action! This special trip for prospective students will immerse you in the San Juan River’s rich geological, archaeological, and natural history while allowing you to connect with fellow students, faculty, and alumni.

Join us for a 26-mile rafting journey along the San Juan River, where you will raft from Bluff, Utah to Mexican Hat, Utah. Throughout the expedition, you’ll have the chance to observe current Adventure Education students as they guide the group, giving you a firsthand look at how our program prepares students for real-world leadership. You will also be surrounded by like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and caretakers who share your passion for adventure, environmental stewardship, and community.

As you explore the river and the stunning surroundings, you’ll gain valuable insight into the core principles of our program, including logistical planning, camp setup, and the integration of environmental studies. Each day you’ll raft an average of 8 to 10 miles each day with scenic side hikes along the river corridor.

If you choose to enroll at Prescott College this fall, your $450 trip fee will be credited toward your tuition.
