    Join Professor Eleanor Tison, faculty in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Food Systems, to learn about the conceptual framework of agroecology as formulated by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) into ten principles or elements. What are these elements? How can they interact? Why are they important to building a more sustainable food system, locally and globally? We'll also explore how these elements are guiding students' design and management of the Prescott College Campus Food Gardens each season. and discuss ways these could be applied in other dimensions of living and learning at Prescott College, including the curricular pathway through the Sustainable Food Systems undergraduate degree program.
